Profound Birth is an out of network provider for any health insurance plans, including Medicaid. Currently, the price of malpractice insurance and the boundaries placed on all Medicaid providers and in-network providers is cost-prohibitive and antithetical for Profound Birth. However, if you would like to self-submit to insurance for reimbursement, we partner with Mindful Midwifery Billing Services to provide the appropriate documentation needed to do so.

HOW MUCH DOES MIDWIFERY CARE COST?
Relationship-centered midwifery care, especially planned home birth, often provides meaningful value when compared to the conventional medical model, both in experience and overall cost.
